Hello, just wondering what was the quietest bow ever made? Any testing data to back it up? I just got a vector 32 and was shooting and man it's quiet. I had a vector turbo and it was nowhere near as quiet. What are some ways to make it ever more silent?

Never shot a hoyt, but the quietest bows I ever shot was an obsession sniper, elite hunter and a mathews q2.
I also shoot a vector 32. It's pretty quiet. I shoot an arrow around 424 grains, monkey tail string silencers, factory alpha shox limb dampaners and a bowjax string suppressor piece(one of the best silencing items under $20 IMO). Having a quiet rest helps a little as well, even if it is just a slight difference it all adds up
The absolute quietest bow I have ever heard was a PSE EVO. I have no clue how this guy had it set up or tuned but it literally did not make a noise when it fired...it was incredible. He was shooting the Ted Nugent GoldTip arrows.
Shot a 750 grin arrow out of my 2011 EVO and its REAL quiet. Heavy arrow and alot of dampeners...LOL
I've had a lot of bows, tuning is huge in taming them down. But recently, I picked up a bargain priced Bear Effect. I added Sims Quads in the limbs, a single sims in the string and a sims cable dampener in each. Surprisingly, this bow is the quietest I think I've ever experienced. No vibration, great shooting and unbelievably silent. I still shake my head when I shoot it.
The 2005 Mathews Outback ...............one of many reasons why this bow is a keeper.

I have to agree with the guardian...standing next to one when it was shot and it was whisper quiet.
Anyone have any decibal readings to back up? Wondering if anyone has fired a bunch of different bows in a sound room to check readings. Other than that its all opinions not facts.
There are many quiet bows out there , but one of them just blows my mind.yeah it's super quiet but what shocking is it super freaking fast.after talking to the bow guys at a new bow shop that opened up here last year and them telling me 290fps is fast ,I decided to mess with them a take the hunlee up there .after blowing through there chrono close to 360fps I expected them say wow that's fast , but no .all they said and few other people standing around is how amazing quiet it was .i had to point at there chrono and say check it out and then they said wow No way!!!!! I had to shoot it over and over again and then they pulled one of there new bows off the shelf to verify there chrono was not jacked up.im not saying it's the quietest bow ever but it's close and I hunt with it over 350fps.thanks again to breathn for building me this over achieving Franken bow
Without doubt the quietest bow I've ever shot was a BowTech Admiral. It was right off the rack at a shop, no tuning, no nothing.
On the 2014 bows.........well I haven't shot a lot of them but from what few I have shot the quietest one was an E35. It was set up for a guy so I don't know if that bow was tuned or not.

The quietest bow ever made was made by Whisper Creek. They are no longer in business but their bows were quiet.
