Looking to find companies that produce takedown recurve bows with metal risers for target; perhaps 60-62 inch with a generous brace height, 50 lbs. at 28 inch draw.

If you're looking for a "traditional" metal-risered bow, Hoyt is coming out with the Gamegetter, PSE makes the Coyote, and CSS makes the Mountaineer. I think that's all of em, could be wrong though.

Other than that if you want a metal-risered recurve you have to go to a FITA-type bow, which don't go below 64".

PSE used to make such a bow- (the coyote is worthless IMHO for targetwork since the brace height is way too shallow and slaps wrists like crazy). I believe it was the jackal and it was based on their Sierra target bow but came with shorter limbs. I have one hanging in my basement for bow fishing.

You might find one used-50- pound winwin limbs were available in camo-they are the basic PSE competition (glass wood) limbs with a paint job

The choices with the stated criteria are few. What additional options become available if there is no restriction on length?

I am interested in target shooting; both spots and field. I am also interested in a machined metal riser and thus far, the Hoyt Gamegetter is perhaps a good candidate -- but the name suggest that it is designed for hunting.
