Hello! Relative newbie here. I have a 54” 25lb draw weight Monarch recurve bow. The guy at the bass pro shop sold me some carbon arrows with 400 spine and plastic fletching, but they fly all over the place. I found a local archery shop, and that guy said I need a more flexible spine and feather fletching. The highest he had in the store was 800 spine carbon arrows, so he gave me some of those and they work soooo much better. But I was wondering… are there any specific arrows that would be better for this type of bow? Are certain materials better than others for recurve bows, draw weight, etc?
Thanks!
p.s. I apologize if I’m using the terms incorrectly—this is a step up for me from “the feather thingy” and “the straight part” 😂
