That's a joke, right? Bozos (Amazon)has given more charitable contributions in one year than cabelas will in 1000 years!!! You realize how many millions it takes to reach a billion? Er....2 billion! And it was donations that have a far greater reaching impact compared to BP/CAB and "our" special interests.

Let stop pretending that any of this charitable donation by cabelas or BP is for conservation. It's not. Its tax purpose. Tax shelters. They donate a million tomorrow for a tax break today. Its business. It's for the share holders. But sure looks good as a headline don't it.

It not just donating money its advocating for the outdoors and conservation you won't see an NRA museum or million dollar donations to the NWTF from Bezos.

No way you can sit here and downplay the donations Bezos has made and make them seem somehow less important than a damn turkey and museum. Thats ridiculous.

How important do those turkey donations and a NRA museum feel now? Yeah your right...we won't see these sorts of donations from Bezos. Just bigger, more important to the world type philanthropy.
I'm not even a big Bezos fan. But I won't downplay his impact, that would be hypocrisy.

I see BP has cut more jobs now! On top of the crazy merger cuts. Good old boy huh. He just keeps cutting jobs. But will give money to TURKEYS??? So tell us how great Johnny Morris is. Odd...Bezos is hiring.

It's like the shepherd leading the sheep to slaughter hunters will continue to be their own worst advocates. Wild places and wild animals are losing their advocates daily I'm personally glad there are a completely different group of folks who increasingly frequent sites like this less and less. Every damn post turns into a pissing match. Someone posts BPS price matches and donates millions to conservation and of course it instantly turns to a few salty folks who lead miserable existences spewing hate and criticism.
