I had a Mach 34, it was a great bow, but to get it to group as well at 60 yards as my aluminum bows I had to add more weight, about 4 to 5 more oz.
At the end of the day, the accountant in me just didn't see the benefit of the $500 more over an aluminum bow, so I sold it and ordered a Fortis 33 with S2 cams.
It defiantly had more float for me than my Revolt-X and my Reckoning 35, using the same stabs, with the same weight until I weighted it down.
I am by no means throwing it under the bus, its a sweet rig.

Whats your draw length? Reason I ask is some cams are better at longer or shorter draw lengths. My personal favorite is not a new bow, but the Xpedition Denali is an excellent 34" ATA bow IMO. I have a 31 and 3/8" draw and I am maxed out on the XS plus cam. It is very light at 3.6 pounds, limb stops, 345 IBO rating (they get that from loading up the cam early in the draw cycle), but great going into the valley, great wall. It has yokes and is very easy to tune. very nice grip with wood side plates and their camo is top notch IMO. Great bow if you want to save a lot of money. I would like to shoot the Athens 35, but lack of yokes and speed has held me back. I didn't love the PSE Evolve cams, The Mathews are heavy and grip doesn't work for me. I really wanted to like Bowtech, but their cams don't feel good at 31" draw. So I an still shooting my Xpeditions and saving a lot of money, just haven't found a bow that I liked better, but I did buy a lot of guns with all the money I saved! Good luck in your search.

hey, how have you been buddy.
my draw is 27.5", I love the S2 cam, at my draw length it is crazy fast, that is why I ordered a Fortis 33 with S2 cams.
usually every bow at my draw length is about 8 to 10 fps under ibo, the S2 was like 1 to 2 fps above IBO, I couldn't believe it.
Heck if I had a 31" draw I would be shooting 60# for sure instead of 72#-73#. lol

This year I bought a Bowtech SS34, PSE Mach 34 and an Athens Vista 35. The Vista 35 is my favorite out of the 3, but any of them are a phenomenal bow and it was tough to sell the Bowtech and PSE. Tons of good choices these days but the Athens fit me the best and I shoot it extremely well.

My draw length runs from 28"-29" depending on the bow. My Revex 2 has the 29" mod and it's very comfortable. The Phase 4 mods were 28.5". Seems like I take 28.5" other Hoyts also.

I think I'm gonna go shoot the Hoyt RX7 Ultra and the VTM 34 tomorrow.

I shot many of the top end '23 bows this year from 33-35" ATA.....my personal top three were the Athens Vista 35, then the Prime Revex 6, then the PSE Mach 34. If the Mach 34 wasn't so much more expensive with the carbon riser, I might have bumped it up a notch to second place. But I was very pleasantly surprised shooting the Athens Vista and that is what I ended up ordering. Not intending to bash, but the Bowtech SS34 was the one I expected to like and was near the bottom of the pack for me.....just not impressed by it.

I haven’t found a bow to outshoot my Revolt XL in my hands yet. Will see if that changes when my Vista 35 gets here. I’ve shot it on two different occasions at the shop and was extremely impressed. The draw cycle and stability are ridiculous.

Primes. You can shoot any bow if you practice a ton and learn how to hold the grip “just right” to overcome/compensate for cam lean and full draw torque etc. Primes hit the same pretty much any direction or awkward position you’re forced to shoot. As far as which one, shoot any of the models over the last 10 years. My 2012 centroid is perfect “for me”. I’ve bought some newer ones and resold immediately as I didn’t like the draw/let off as much. Haven’t tried any newest ones the past few years.

You should try the Revex 4. It's the best bow Prime has built to date in my opinion. I have the Revex 2 now, and it's really good, but the Revex 4 is outstanding.

I should. Would like to shoot a new Mathews too after several years, it’s just no reason to lol. Still have my original strings on and a pile of about 50 huge deer 10 years later from the one I have, and can’t foresee anything being worth all the trouble of setting up and fine tuning another to the point where I am satisfied. Glad to hear they show some potential though! There’s a bunch I’ll never shoot again as long as using the same bad Platform, I’ve super tuned many and most haven’t really changed at all.

Prime, without question. The center grip and more mass weight below the grip, lowering the center of gravity, combined with a good set of stabs make the Primes hold on target better than any other bow in my opinion.

You won't find one, and I ain't selling any of mine, but the Rytera Alien X has been my bow for over a decade. Tried others and none are as good (to me). I still buy them when they pop up (a hint for anyone out there). They don't go up on the market often because of how good they were. I use one for indoor, one for 3D, another for hunting, and another stays stored. Still always looking for another predator camo dipped one.

A close second is the bow Martin used the alien to design, the Firecat 400. One of those is my back-up hunting bow. Again, have fun finding one.

My Mach 34 with EC2 cams is just about as good as it gets. I also have a 2022 Athens Vista 31 that is a shooter. I have not shot a Vista 35.

Yeah, the one, I dropped a bid on already. Even for a Martin built one, that isn't bad. The other, they can keep. I would pay that for another Crackerized, predator dipped one though.
